Ben Trowbridge is the founder and CEO of Alsbridge, Inc., a leading advisor to management in the planning, evaluation, and negotiation of outsourcing, shared services and benchmarking. Ben founded the firm as The Trowbridge Group in 2002 and later merged the company with ALS Consulting of London, England, to create the global advisory firm Alsbridge in 2005.
He has more than 20 years of global outsourcing experience as a consultant and buyer executive and has personally been involved in over 200 outsourcing transactions with contract values exceeding an estimated $15 billion. In 2007, Ben was named FAO Superstar by FAO Today magazine.
Prior to Alsbridge, Ben was CEO of United Messaging, where he led the re-engineering of the firm´s cost structure leading to the successful sale of the company to an investor group.
Ben also served as Managing Partner for Ernst & Young´s Outsourcing Services Business and COO for their Global Outsourcing Business. Ben personally led and directed two of the firm´s largest outsourcing relationships, with a total contract value of over $4 billion. Before joining Ernst & Young, Ben held a number of senior management positions in sales and marketing and successfully grew several vertical businesses from start-up to maturity.
