WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Managing outsourcing/offshoring
advisory engagements, managing engagement profitability, leveraging staff
appropriately and supporting activities to maintain successful client
relationships. Leading selling of engagements and driving up-sell opportunities
on existing engagements.
Developing sales
campaigns and targeting prospecting clients for Alsbridge ITO strategy and
assessments and ITO advisory services.
Developing, selling,
and maintaining client relationships.
Utilizing broad ITO and
BPO business knowledge while demonstrating to clients, specific understanding
of outsourcing/offshoring strategies throughout the complete outsourcing &
offshoring lifecycle.
Developing strong
quantitative and analytical documents, and implementing innovative business
analysis to support the creation of proposals to clients, and presenting sound
business conclusions gathered from research and analysis to produce thought
leadership white papers, presentations and speaking appearances.
Negotiating substantial
contractual relationships on behalf of the client and managing the entire RFP
process involving due diligence, provider relationships and
contract-negotiations.
Co-leading practice
development and intellectual property development efforts, with the ability to
analyze performance metrics, risk and control using strong analytical and
creative problem solving capabilities.
Managing multiple
day-to-day teams, leading project management strategies and consulting
operations to ensure project progress, customer satisfaction, staff
productivity, project profitability with continued growth of the scale and
scope of the professional services operation.
Leading multiple
ITO and BPO engagements while providing service delivery expertise to support
the client transfer of Outsourcing, Offshoring and Shared Services processes
over multiple functions including Information Technology and Business Process
Outsourcing.
Coaching and
mentoring teams throughout engagements as well as through the Assessment
cycles, helping establish direction and vision for each member.
Managing at all
times at least one internal intellectual property improvement project. Heading
up development and improvements of your functional GTM silo within the firm.
I.e. F&A, RTM, Transition,…
REQUIREMENTS:
The Senior Outsourcing
Advisor will have substantial experience in managing Information Technology and
Business Process Outsourcing and Offshoring strategies, with proven success in
selling consulting engagements to CIO and other CxO-level clients.
The successful
advisors will posses the following requirements:
Over 15 years of
consulting experience from a management consulting firm with a complete
knowledge of the outsourcing lifecycle. Only candidates with
consulting experience will be considered.
A minimum of 10 years
professional ITO and BPO experience evaluating, delivering and managing complex
outsourcing and offshoring environments, with at least one large-scale global
experience leading a fully integrated outsourced project.
Past experience with
building a consulting practice or other relevant business in a leadership
position.
Experience with selling
consulting engagements.
Business development
and sales experience, including proposal writing and sales calls.
Ability to develop
sales campaigns and target prospective clients.
Significant P&L
responsibilities.
Ability to multi-task
client service delivery, business development, practice development and advisor
mentoring and development.
Strong ITO operational
strategy and transformation skills – needs to be perceived by client CIO as a
true subject matter expert. Executive presence and technical abilities to
command commensurate bill rates.
Experience running a
large RFP and RFI process with the ability to coordinate multiple groups and
facilitate communication between C-level clients, vendors, peers and coworkers.
Previous
conference/speaker experience at major industry conferences.
Experience with
developing consulting methodology and intellectual property, in the form of
positions and papers.
Superb presentation
skills, to include ability to develop conceptual and analytical work products.
Ability to sell ITO
strategy, assessments, and ITO transactions to CIO and other C – suite levels.
Deep project management
skills and QA responsibilities over strategy & assessment and ITO
transaction engagements, or other equivalent project experience.
Experienced in SLA’s, including contract definition, SOW, vendor
management and contract negotiations, ongoing monitoring, financial structuring
and termination considerations.
Expert in Microsoft
Project and Powerpoint.
