Outsourcing of Internal SSCs Pays Off for Travel/Entertainment Firm
Summary
Alsbridge helped the client outsource Finance and Accounting (F&A) from four Nordic countries to an outsourced Shared Services Center (SSC) in Prague.Currently, we’re helping the client consider outsourcing from existing internal SSC’s to outsourced near-shore or offshore centers servicing 11 European countries. And, we’re developing a sourcing strategy for certain Human Resources (HR) and procurement functions.
Client Challenge Our client needed a rapid assessment of Pan European baseline costs for multiple functions. Once the scope was determined, the client needed a global best-shoring strategy that considered both in-house and outsourced solutions to provide services, some of which were scattered among multiple countries and others were already provided by internal SSC's.
