“Alsbridge Health” dedicated to assisting NHS clients with the Shared Services challenge
London, UK - 13th August 2007 - Alsbridge, the award winning outsourcing, shared services and offshoring advisory firm today announce the launch of its new UK Health Division – “Alsbridge Health” – dedicated to assisting NHS and Healthcare clients in the UK.
Alsbridge Health offers independent advice on Shared Services, based on best practise private sector methodologies, combined with hands-on NHS experience and expertise.
The company has established Alsbridge Health through the addition of consultants who have operated at executive Board level in the NHS as both commissioners and providers of shared services. Alsbridge consultants have hands-on experience of working with Trusts, PCTs and SHAs to transform back-office services.
“We understand the nature of the NHS and the difficulties it can present when organisations are trying to move forward on a corporate agenda in a predominantly clinical environment” explains Chris Price, Head of Public Sector at Alsbridge Europe. “As pressure to maximise resources to the frontline increase there is a greater focus on how shared services are organised”.
However there are a myriad of solutions to shared services in the NHS, including national options such as NHS Shared Business Services and local solutions between PCTs and Trusts. “Our approach is to provide a pragmatic framework and a route map within which we can work with clients from start to finish, and from problem to solution” says Chris Price. “Alternatively, if clients need to in-source specialist expertise and advice at key junctions within their programmes, we can provide a range of tools and best practice guidance”.
Alsbridge Health will be hosting its first NHS Shared Services Forum on October 16th 2007, at the Royal College of Surgeons, London. The theme of this free meeting is “Externalising safely and with confidence”. |
