Alsbridge Plc Launch IT Outsourcing User Group Following Overwhelming Success Of Their HR Sourcing And Transformation Group And F&A BPO User Group

London, UK (2nd June 2008) - Alsbridge plc, the award winning outsourcing, shared services and offshoring advisory firm, have announced the launch of an IT Outsourcing User Group, specifically for client side organisations that have engaged in, or are seriously considering IT Outsourcing. The inaugural meeting of the group will take place 16th July 2008 in Central London.

The launch of the Group follows the resounding success of the Alsbridge plc EMEA HR Sourcing and Transformation Group and F&A BPO User Group initiated between last October and March which are now home to over 50 client-side member organisations.

The IT Outsourcing User Group is designed to create an open forum where group members can share their learning and experiences from outsourcing IT processes. Free membership comprises regular meetings, research and benchmarking activity on topics such as governance, the retained organisation, pricing mechanisms and contract renegotiation. Benefits to client-side include:

• A forum to learn from other organisations, how they tackled the IT Outsourcing challenges that they themselves now face; what worked well and what to avoid.
• The opportunity and time for in-depth networking to obtain impartial advice and views of others engaged in IT Outsourcing; both other users of IT Outsourcing and Alsbridge plc consultants.
• Access to a unique members' area on the Alsbridge plc website that will act as a repository of information shared by the group.
