Client:
Global Food Company with $12.5B in Annual Revenue and 21,000+ Employees
Scope:
Alsbridge helped the client outsource F&A from 4 Nordic countries to an outsourced shared services centre in Prague. Currently, we are helping the client consider outsourcing from existing internal shared service centres to outsourced near-shore or offshore centres servicing 11 European countries. Additionally, we are developing a sourcing strategy for certain HR and Procurement functions to include Payroll.
Objectives:
Client needed a rapid assessment of pan-European baseline costs for multiple functions. Once the scope was determined, client needed a global best-shoring strategy that considered both in-house and outsourced solutions to provide these services, some of which were scattered among multiple countries and others already provided by internal shared service centers.
Activities:
Evaluated global operations to determine best scope, location and configuration to provide the highest quality services. After developing and recommending a sourcing strategy, we assisted the client in assessing supplier capability and helping to select the preferred supplier; co-developing/validating the proposed solution; developing the RFP, and drafting and negotiating the contract alongside internal counsel.
Results:
Both client and provider will attest that the deal was negotiated in record time. We ensured that each solution was robust and workable. Transferred skills and knowledge to client to use on future projects ensuring lessons learned at each stage were captured for future use.
