London, UK - May 01, 2008 - Alsbridge plc, the award winning advisors on outsourcing shared services and offshoring today announce the launch of their Shared Services Maturity Survey. The resulting report will be released to all participants and will include a customised chart assessing their individual position against best practice and against the average of the survey participants. Alsbridge plc is conducting this survey to gain insight into the maturity of shared service organisations based on the key indices of: scope, process, efficiency, service management, technological capability, regulatory compliance and suitability of location. Designed specifically for user-side organisations, participants will benefit by being able to:
- Identify best practices in other organisations which should provide them with valuable information
- Identify areas where operation falls short in relation to other leading organisation
- Prioritise areas for development
Elaine Harrison, Senior Manager at Alsbridge plc comments: “Setting the standard for industry best practise is an essential part of what we do and we know what the levers are to optimise existing Shared Services operations. The results of our survey will provide some excellent insights for individual participants and the whole industry alike”.
Current Alsbridge plc thought leadership suggests that although Shared Services are seen as a key vehicle for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of back office support activities, many organisations are failing to meet their full potential. Their latest view point “Extracting Full Value from your Shared Services Organisation” explores their four key levers for optimisation in more detail.
